Using the Checklist Pane
Using the Checklist Pane on the Case Details Page
The Checklist pane outlines all essential tasks that staff must complete before surgery, such as "Consent Form Signed" or "Patient Consented." To ensure each team member understands their responsibilities, each task is clearly associated with a role, such as Circulating Nurse, Anesthesiologist, or Surgeon.
When a team starts a case, all group headings and tasks are blue. When a team member completes a task, the text turns grey and the Checklist adds a green check mark in real time, helping the team stay organized and ensuring all tasks are complete before the procedure begins.
Task groups show an overall status, such as Anesthesiologist: Completed. If a case is in progress, complete group headings are collapsed by default. You can toggle the expand/collapse icons on the right side of the group headings.
You can group tasks using one of the following methods:
Functional
Chronological
Using the Functional Grouping

At the top of the Checklist pane, click Functional.
Find your role, such as Circulating Nurse, Anesthesiologist, or Surgeon.
Review the tasks under your role.
To complete a task, click the circle next to the task.
A green checkmark marks the task complete.
Using the Chronological Grouping

At the top of the Checklist pane, click Chronological.
Review the phases, such as 1 - Initial, 2 - Verification, etc.
Under the current phase, review your assigned tasks. Your tasks are marked with the icon for your role.
To complete a task, click the circle next to the task.
A green checkmark marks the task complete.
